The concept of tassel...Thank you for this insight! The concept of tassels and "fringe" on garments is something I have encountered in my own research among ancient texts. So far, I have not totally arrived at the level of understanding which I am seeking (there are papyri examples with cryptic mathematical word problems which reference 'fringe' and 'garment' and ancient wisdom literature offering cautionary tales against 'skimming' or misrepresenting quality/dimensions received (artisans/jewelers/chefs), and keeping the (fringe) remnants of materials/food that belong to the boss/king/god/other person or entity).
Your blog post, which I have (by G*d's grace) stumbled upon, adds another open gate toward a better and richer understanding in my research. Your footnotes are the cherry-on-top. Thank you, thank you.
-TinaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1131907817946868673.post-9681460322519002122021-06-19T16:04:24.333-07:002021-06-19T16:04:24.333-07:00HallelluYahHallelluYahMumsy westhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05990780211092156237noreply@blogger.com
